A full time position is open in a team of 4.5 vets.
New graduates are very welcome and will receive full support and encouraged to develop
their clinical skills, in a team environment. The clinic has digital Xray, ultrasound ECG
fibreoptic endoscopy, 3 different blood machines, etc. We undertake all manner of medical
procedures to aim resolve all cases, in house.
Young vets are also strongly supported in the surgical suite. Assisting with complex
surgeries and being guided through their own surgeries.
We undertake all abdominal, reconstructive and respiratory surgeries as well as
orthopaedics.
After a settling-in period, the successful applicant will share a 1-in-4 or a  1-in-5 rotation for
emergency service cover for nights and weekends. Colleague support is always available, if
needed.
Clientelle are roughly 50% Portuguese and 50% estrangeiros, mainly English speaking.
Basic English, only, is recommended, as most staff at the clinic are Portuguese.
